My Oil Painting!

The Blood He Shed For Me!

Several months ago I was challenged to do a picture. (I chose to do it in oil, first time I have ever used oil) Had a lot to pray, and think about before doing the picture. The one that challenged me wanted me to do a picture of The blood He Shed For Us. Do you know you can't. Even as hard as I tried, you can't do it justice. No one knows how much blood He shed for us. It had to be a lot, think about it. When He was whipped there had to be blood. We don't know just how much they whipped Him. Then think of the time He was upon the cross before they actually had taken Him down.

Have you really thought about it? God shed His blood for you and for me. So that we might live. In His Word it says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16.

Living for Him is the best thing that I could have ever did. He has done so much for me that I can't begin to express how I feel for the Love that He gives and shows me.

There are many songs, and there are many scriptures that talk about the blood of Jesus. I can't begin to tell you all of them. But I do know that He shed it for me and so I want more then anything else to do for Him what I can. Winning souls for Him is my goal. I may not be the best of example. But by God's help I am aiming to please Him in all I do and say.

So if it means painting this picture for Him, I am going to do just that.

So please feel free to comment on what your thoughts are about the picture, you can go to the top of this page on the left and click on Contact Me! Or go below this blog and click on comment, and leave a comment. Please! Thank You, for stopping by!

This blog you started is so neat. By talking about your painful past, I believe you will reach many hurting people. Keep up the good work!
