It goes like this:
"STOP"
And let me tell you, what the Lord has done for me. Stop, and let me tell you, what the Lord has done for me. He has forgave my sins, and He saved my soul. He cleansed my heart and He made me whole. So, Stop! and let me tell you, what the Lord has done for me.
God has done so much for me. If you have read my profile, God has been good to me.
Many years ago I learned something, as a young girl. There was something missing in my life. I realized that I didn't want to be a bad person and do bad things. I wanted to be a good person. I was always wanting to do good. I look back at that now and I believe God had His hand on me. I attended a church as a little girl. I usually always went by myself, once I started going, I found that there was something missing in my life. I just couldn't find it, not yet anyway. Then I learned something, that God is preparing a place for me in Heaven! But you know what? I found out that there is only "ONE WAY" to Heaven.
Yes, only one way to Heaven. I didn't actually give my life over to Him, until I was 15, when I found that I needed to ask Jesus into my heart, and tell Him that I wanted to live for Him the rest of my life. So I asked Him into my heart. He cleansed my heart. You know Jesus died on an old rugged cross. Just for you and for me. He cleansed us with His blood. The scripture says;"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son. That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have ever lasting life. John 3:16
But it didn't end there. He arose again and is preparing a place for us in Heaven.
Another scripture which I have used in my profile,says;
"Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father's house are many mansions if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you and if I go to prepare a place for you I will come again and recieve you unto my self. That where I am there ye may be also, and wither I go ye know and the way ye know." John 14:1-4
I asked Jesus into my heart, He cleansed my heart from sin. I am waiting to meet Jesus in Heaven one day. As I live my life for Him, I do want to be obedient to Him.
There are times when the devil will try to come into your life, he will try to get you to do or say something that you shouldn't. When you give in to those things, you are yielding, did you know that yielding is sin?
Yes, if you "YIELD" you are giving in to sin.
There is a song we sing sometimes, It goes like this:
"Yield Not to Temptation"
Yield not to temptation, for yielding is sin. Each victory will help you some other to win. Fight manfully onward; Dark passions subdue. Shun evil companions; Bad language disdain. God's name hold in reverence, not take it in vain. Be thoughtful and earnest, kindhearted and true. To him that over cometh, God giveth a crown. Through faith we shall conquer, though often cast down; He who is our Saviour, our strength will renew. Look ever to Jesus; He'll carry you through. Ask the Saviour to help you, comfort, strengthen, and keep you. He is willing to aid you; He will carry you through.
As you live your life for Him, keep your hand in His, he will help you through what ever curve or dead end comes your way, just remember it is that detour that God put there for a reason.
And remember that yield sign, if you give in to those temptations, it doesn't mean that you have to give up. Start right there and ask God to forgive you and start right from there. You don't have to throw it away. So many people think that if they give into that sin, that it is all over.
Though I know that we don't have to sin. God can clean your heart so clean that you don't want to sin any more. You can live like that if you really want to. After you have given your life all over to Jesus, then you need to ....
